Surrey Auto Services - The story so far................................. Nick Brown Proprietor of Surrey Auto Services has nearly 30 years experience in the motor trade. Having studied Metalwork, Technical Drawing & Agricultural Engineering at School, started his career at a local British Leyland dealership. Later he moved to a multi franchised dealership & finally to a large commercial hire & transport company where he soon became workshop Manager.
Established in 1993 Surrey Auto Services started as a mobile business specialising in the servicing & repair of cars & commercials. In the early days part of the week was taken up with the sub-contract work from other independent garages in the area who did not have the facilities or knowledge of repair procedures on Diesel cars & LCV's.
The company became permanently workshop based in late 1994 having secured several commercial maintenance contracts. The company relocated to larger premises in Blackmore two years later & finally to Oakhanger in 2000. Here the company has expanded into a multifaceted enterprise covering all sizes & types of vehicles, Metal fabrication & Spraying. The main increase in business in the last few years has been the major expansion in the Plant & Agricultural side of the business which is a large part of the contract work.
